Dear All,
I am a novice user in oracle.
I just installed oracle database 10g successfully.When I tried to connect to database with the following code snipet but I could not..
I just suplied the password that I set during installation.
Can you please share your experience so that I can resolve my problem..

C:\>cd /oracle/product/10.1.0

C:\oracle\product\10.1.0>sqlplus /nolog

SQL*Plus: Release 10.1.0.2.0 - Production on Wed Sep 23 19:04:18 2009

Copyright (c) 1982, 2004, Oracle. All rights reserved.

SQL> connect sys as sysdba
Enter password:
ERROR:
ORA-12560: TNS:protocol adapter error

This has very little to do with F5 products, but a Google search reveals quite a few pages with information about that particular error.
