Yesterday Google announced a new HTML 5 based tool for web based communication and collaboration called Wave.  One of the coolest things about Wave is this is an open-source project, anybody can embed waves in their site and build extensions using the Google Wave API.  The protocol called the Google Wave Federation Protocol  is based on XMPP (Extensible Messaging and Presence Protocol). We all have our favourite browsers for one reason or another and if you're a geek like me you might even have 3 browsers or more installed.  With all the new browsers being launched we are being bombarded with statistics about which one is faster and which one has the coolest new features.  If you were to rank the browser versions in terms of worldwide popularity how would you rank them - go ahead take a minute to write down your top 3 I'll wait.    The people over at StatCounter provide global statistics on the market share of various browsers...
