DevCentral Weekly Roundup Episode 18 - ISC

Jeff is "Double Berried" this week (with Chocolaty Goodness).
If you've been wondering where we've been, The DevCentral Team is back from the F5 International Sales Conference held last week in sunny Palm Springs, CA. All of the team members had a full speaking gig during the show.
Deb and Jeff, after working their way through equipment "malfunctions", talked about Applications De-Mystified.
Don felt like a "boy toy" during his and Lori's talk on SOA and Web 2.0.
Colin and Joe discussed iRules, iControl, and Community.
Don and Deb said that Lori and Jeff were good at "borrowing content" from their co-presenters.
The team then talks about some games played during the sessions including a "Virtual Human Network" and "Fill in the blanks with DevCentral".
The podcast ended up with an overview of a day in the life of a conference attendee including moshing to Cheap Trick.

DevCentral Weekly Roundup Episode 16 - The iControl Uprising

Don is going with "Option B" this week.

Colin references Lori's blog post about "All your performance are belong to us". Colin found a this info out on Tcl Wiki and next video is coming out from his European tour.
Deb's wrote a tech tip on OneConnect that is too complicated to try to explain in this podcast - check out the tech tip. The team throws out a group hug to unRuleY for his inspiration and guidance. Deb talked to a customer who is using classes to do variable management for their SOA architecture.
Jeff made it in despite the "sickfest" he's been going through.
Joe talks about his article on iControl Taxonomy and another one using the HTTP Referer header as a possible solution for blog spam.
Jeff recaps a couple of recent talks with customers and how we've seen an uprise in the use of iControl in automation more of day to day maintenance and management of applications. Joe talks about the information barrier that still exists between the network and application folks. In a call for feedback somehow pagers, smoke stacks and train tracks came up..
