Welcome to the sixty first edition of the DevCentral Weekly Roundtable Podcast! A weekly recap of the interesting things that have been going on within the DevCentral community.

In the tech tips, Joe created a PowerShell Dashboard, Colin is Caching with iRules, and Jason investigates Nagle's Algorithm.
Jason has been blogging about Presentation gimmicks, Colin discusses SDBP, and Don is doing more Multi-coring, this time with RogueWave.
In the forums, we cover renaming http path aspx, TCP::collect, Web Analytics iRule Style, and a TCP stream inspection problem.
hoolio has been active in the wikis with CACHE::disabled/fresh/header/statskey along with PROFILE::http. Joe also posted his iControlDashboard to the iControl CodeShare.
Joe posted a few videos in his blog of PUSA.
The finishes things up with a discussion of this post on TechCunch about bloated blogs and Joe and Jeff's trip to DevConnections in Vegas next week.

DevCentral Weekly Roundup Episode 13 - The DataCenter 2010

Jeff introduces the gang. Colin points out how folks have been excited about new iRule Editor with support of Admin Partitions. Jeff talks about the new Open Performance Testing Initiative section of DevCentral. The team calls out for vendors to participate and for users to submit their comments and ideas about the performance test setup. Joe plugs his video tutorial on the admin partition support and his blog post about using FirePass to help publish it. Just alludes to an upcoming release of the FirePass Client API SDK. Colin recaps his use of FirePass from a train. Just talks about the new iTunes Podcasts for Video based Tech Tips as well as how this podcast got someone to come work for F5. If there are any iPhone users out there listening to this on their iPhone, let us know. Jeff comments awesome an iPhone can be for wardriving. Don says Lori's latest blog post is good reading.
Then the group talks about challenges with the DataCenter of 2010 (3 years may seem like a short time, but it's a long time in tech years). Jeff points that power usage by DataCenters is larger than all of TV's in the US. Colin points out that Power and Energy consumption will be a primary factor and things that companies are physically locating closer to power sources like dams due to lower costs.

DevCentral Weekly Roundup Episode 9 - Gremlins

Colin recaps the recent Partner Conference and his upcoming trip to Europe where he'll be talking about DevCentral and iControl and he'll visit a user group while he's there. He's looking for some volunteers for a few Pub meetups while he's there.
Joe went to the Seattle Lunch 2.0 meetup last week and is off to Gnomedex this Friday/Saturday. Colin gives a solution to Justin.TV's neck stress. Joe refers to some recent forum posts on 64 bit math in VB, WSDL Versioning (and why you should use the iControl Assembly), and a recent request for a single-document iRules Reference.
Deb talks about upcoming User Groups on DevCentral (UGODs for you cool cats out there). She talks about how to optimize iRules for maintainability. She highlights the benefits of matchclass with data groups. She then talks about issue with pulling stats from SNMP.
Jeff talks about the new Questions of the Week forum. This weeks topic is "How fast have you created an iRule to solve a problem". Post your best stories! He references an article by Ty Anderson on DevX about ways developers can make sure they don't forget about the network.
Don helps the team figure out how to best use the Mute button on our headsets.
Deb then leads a discussion on a DateLine show "To Catch an i-Jacker" that she brought up in her blog. Joe provides a controversial opinion on why Apple is doing what they are doing. Joe references iFixit.com and Jeff finishes up by pointing out why Fear sells...
