In celebration of the iRule contest wrapping up today, here’s a fun DCTV clip to kick off your weekend.
What makes F5 great are the people that work here, their drive to step out and challenge themselves, and for “management’s” willingness to embrace creativity and innovation. In addition to our dedication to DevCentral forums, wikis, blogs and other cool stuff, we thought it was only proper to start a band (yeah – pretty obvious, right?). As with most ideas, it started as a harmless, “hey – you know what would be cool?” and the next thing we knew, we were playing a gig for the F5 sales team at one of Canada’s most storied venues – “The Commodore” in Vancouver. Thousands of watts of sound, lights, the real deal.
Since the gig was an F5 event, it also made sense to tweak the lyrics a bit to make them more applicable to an F5 audience. So, our first song is dedicated to those technical folks that rely on “BIG_PIPE” periodically to “fix things”.
Special thanks to the sales management team for their willingness let us open their party and the warm audience reception.
We hope you enjoy. Let us know if you like it. Maybe we’ll post another song or two for your viewing and listening pleasure.
