Get your Blackberry Monitoring App Today
posted on Friday, December 14, 2007 1:39 PM

Yep. It's finally available, ready for you to download. It's on the lab pages, here. Of course, to download it you have to have an account on DevCentral... What did you expect, it would be free as in beer? We're conscious of your desires though, our userlist is protected from the ravening masses, so go ahead and register if you haven't already. The app is worth it.

This version is monitoring only - you can't change anything - and you'll find things you wish it did that it doesn't yet do (say that three times fast). That's very cool, and part of the process - pop out to the forums and let us know so we can build the roadmap for the next release!

The power of iControl. It runs on the platform you need, where you need it, when you need it.

So go get it. And let us know what you think!

Now, off to some other project.

Don.

Gravatar Cool stuff. I had to load buttloads (yes, a technical term) of software from Sun and Blackberry to get the simulator working, but I had no issues with connectivity to my lab F5's. Good work, Don!

Gravatar Thanks Jason,

Our Blackberries come pre-configured to be able to get on a Firepass VPN (no surprise there), so if you have a list of what you had to load, could you email it to me? I'd like to update the install instructions with other items you might need.

Thanks,
Don.
