Your app is slow, demand has grown
the hardware is not your own
your heart sweats, your body shakes
another clone is all it takes
Compute is cheap, it can’t be beat
there was no doubt, you’d take the leap
your budget’s tight, exec’s decreed
another cloud is all you need

there’s no 5 9s, but you don’t need,
the systems run at different speeds
requests arrive in double time
