I am excited to announce today the release of our WebSphere MQ deployment guidance for BIG-IP Local Traffic Management.  The guide is available on the Resources section of F5 Networks.com and also linked directly here.  This guide is designed to provide guidance on how to achieve high availability, SSL Off Load and TCP Optimization with WebSphere MQ.

In my previous post, I described in detail how BIG-IP can help with MQ. Specifically we bringing offload and load balancing, and in this deployment guide I provide the step-by-step instructions on how to setup the pools, how to setup the monitors, how to setup TCP and SSL optimizations and finally, how to setup the Virtual Server.

I look forward to comments about the guide, in fact I received some immediately from our colleagues at IBM and will probably be adding some comments to the guide based on this great feedback in the coming weeks.  I am also looking forward to version 2.0 of the guide, where we will adding more advanced monitoring, information about transmission queues and global traffic management.

The Deployment guide for this solution can be downloaded from the Resources section of F5.com or by clicking here.
