We'll, it's over. Congrats to the Seahawks for giving us a great season. It's just a bummer that it had to end the way it did. Granted, the Seahawks missed a couple of field goals and crucial passes. But, lets face it, the Steelers got a lot of help from the refs. It got to a point that as soon as the Seahawks would make good play, instead of cheering, I'd be looking for a flag and low-and-behold, there it was. Oh, and don't get me going on Roethlisberger's supposed touch down...

When you get the commentators calling the penalties ridiculous and using their time on air to compare to bad calls of the past, then something has to be going on. I could take the loss if I felt it was an evenly called game, but it just wasn't...

And, checking the web this morning, I'm not the only one who was feeling slighted

Oh, and for the half-time was fairly lame as well. The only commercial that I remember was the Hummer add where the robot and monster had a "baby monster". The kids thought that one was funny as well. The Stones, were pretty disappointing as well. You couldn't understand a word they were singing despite knowing their songs by heart. Here's an exact quote from my kids when asking them whether they like the music:

"They are scary looking and kind of freak me out. That sounds like rock but I can't understand what they are singing."

This is coming from my 9 year old who is a fan of Green Day. Billy Joe Armstrong doesn't freak him out but Mick Jagger and the gang do. Not sure I disagree with him B-).

Oh well, hopefully the NFL (particularly the refs) work this year on making next years game more enjoyable.
