Neat stuff happens at F5 every day. I just got an email pointing me to something that Brad at Live Journal posted. Because of the great stuff in the Traffic Management Operating System, Brad was able to use an iRule in BIG-IP to offload almost 1/3 of http requests from ever having to reach his web servers. Pair that with the other offload capabilities in the product and customers can save some serious money.

As one of the replies states:"That BIG-IP stuff is pretty bad ass."  While I don't think we'll be using that in one of our tag lines anytime soon, I think it captures the spirit of the power of TM/OS and what we've unleashed with version 9 - now things get really interesting.
