The DevCentral team has been working hard to freshen things up around DevCentral. Over the past 6-9 months, we’ve received some great feedback and suggestions for how we can improve DevCentral. We have also, based upon research with many members, developed some new features that will help you continue to learn more about iRules, iControl, and a variety of technical topics related to F5.

Most obvious to the eye is a new look and feel. To make it easy to navigate quickly to the information you need, we’ve moved the navigation to the left column with more advanced cascading menus. We have also improved search capabilities and general organization of content all with the intent of making it easy to get what you need, when you need it.

The most exciting new feature is DevCentral TV (or DCTV as we call it). With DCTV, we will be publishing regular video features that provide you with a quick dose of engaging F5 technical info to help you get the most out of iRules and iControl.

DCTV will include segments including “411” – sessions where we ask F5 engineers and DevCentral community members key questions that offer insight into how to best deploy F5 and related technology. Our innovative “Whiteboard” sessions will bring the F5 whiteboards right onto your desktop as our engineers walk through iRules and iControl applications, outlining how they work right before your eyes. We will also be doing “TechDumps” – brief drill downs on iRules and iControl applications by F5 engineers.

Our continual expanding DevCentral team has put much work into refreshing the site and we look forward to your comments. Let us know what you think, what you like, and what you would like to see improved.
