Last week on the flight to Dehli I experienced one of the scariest landings I've had in a while. There were thunderstorm-induced altitude drops that had the stewardesses screaming and to top it all off an aborted landing. There is nothing quite as exhilarating as being about 50 feet above the runway in a large plane only to have it nose up suddenly, hear the engines roar to full power and go into a steep climb. After about 20 minutes the pilot claimed that it was "weather induced" as we came around for another go.

If the airline had fancy Star Wars air sickness bags there could have been some much needed levity added to the situation.
