Yesterday I updated from 220.127.116.11 to 12.1.4 following the F5 SIRT email recommend to do so. Since then we have noticed that when a change is made to an ASM policy it doesn't change the sync status, and we can't sync these changes to the standby unit. To test the change I booted the pair back to 18.104.22.168 and ran the same test, and again, no change visible and sync doesn't send to the standby unit, so we don't think its anything to do with the upgrade, but it was working fine before this was carried out. Can anyone suggest anything we can try?

Anthony, have you double checked the ASM Synchronization setting? I wonder if this was reverted for some reason.

A side question, why do we have a sync setting for ASM, when the same sync anyway happens from the normal config-sync operation?
I saw an error related to this recently and fixed it by changing the asm sycn setting to none, so asking.
