Authentication Profile type is missing on BigIP LTM VE Trial

Hi, Just got fresh trial version of LTM and wonder why I got only one Authentication profile type available which is SSL Client side certificate? Is this somewhat limitation of Trial version or something went wrong with my setup? Tried to google it with no success, so maybe someone here had same case? Cheers Konsta

I believe you're referring to the old "ACA" or Advanced Client Authentication feature module that included LDAP, TACACS, Kerberos, OCSP/CRLDP, etc. I don't believe that module is available anymore, and the remaining certificate auth pieces have been migrated directly into LTM. To do LDAP you now need APM.

Yeah, I checked on our production device with 10.2.4 version and there no LDAP Authentication module as well. So it seems that you're right. Thanks for info.

I'd assume other options would only be available with APM.

Sure? Guide said that LTM supports them http://support.f5.com/kb/en-us/products/big-ip_ltm/manuals/product/ltm_configuration_guide_10_1/ltm_auth_profiles.html#1197346 I need to test LDAP authentication, but it is for some reason missed.

Sorry, do you have the v10.1 VE? Just firing it up to check; and it's no longer licensed. Sorry. OK, so looking at my v11.3 VE, I'm licensed for 'Client Authentication'; are you?

ACA is now EOL and no longer an option on LTM - https://support.f5.com/csp/article/K14263

I think you need to go to APM for similar functionality?
