differences between data groups and iRule classes

Hi there,

Are there any differences between data groups and defined classes within iRules? The way I see it now is that you can use data groups in multiple iRules without having to re-define the class. Any other differences I need to know about?

Cheers, Mike

The way I thought of it, data groups was the GUI term for classes. (As they are referred to in bigip.conf).

Brian's right on here. The difference is only in terminology. We're development types, so we tend to refer to them as classes. The guide often refers to them as data groups. It's really the same thing.
