I need to implement dynamic ratio load balancing for unix servers using snmp for example
Iam using round robin now
if there is any detailed steps to do that
Here it is the technical note on how to do it: https://support.f5.com/csp/article/K14114
I have never seen this useful, and no one has never recommended me this. The main point is that this is complex to implement and it does not provide great benefits. One big problem is that is unpredictable and hard to understand how big-ip load balance the traffic.
In my opinion, looking into static LB methods simplifies a lot your deployment and still provide great benefits. Least connections, fastest response (for http services) are very good options.
thanks for your reply
yes I know it is complex to implement but it is one of our customer requirements
I read this document before but I need more detailed steps to do that specially server side configuration
