iRule in parked state (UDP bug)

Hello.

I'm trying to understand this bug -> https://support.f5.com/csp/article/K15210

Could someone clarify what this means?

  • The UDP virtual server uses an iRule command that parks the iRule.
  • The connection flow is terminated (for example, when an Internet Control Message Protocol (ICMP) unreachable message is received from the server side) while the iRule is in a parked state.

"iRule in parked state"?? what does it mean? Could you bring an example?

KR, Dario.
