Load balance TFS 2010

The microsoft documentation for load balancing TFS 2010 has a lot of details about how to do it with NLB.  In several places it also says you can use hardware load balancing such as Big-IP.  Unfortunately they don't provide any details about how to do that.

Has anyone attempted to load balance the TFS2010 application tier using Big-IP?  Are there any gotcha's or pitfalls we should be aware of?

I can post details about what we're trying to setup but I'm hoping somebody has some notes which could save us a lot of time.

thanks

Perry

Hi Everyone -

F5 has received a handful of inquiries about load balancing client connections into TFS lately. This solution is on our radar. While we do not have an iApp or deployment guide at this time, we can share this pointer to Microsoft documentation on TFS architecture. This MSDN article includes a table of protocols at the bottom to help anyone configure the necessary BIG-IP virtuals for this application.

Please post your experiences and any tips to this thread. Thanks!
