I have two F5s in HA and /shared/tmp folder got accidentally deleted on the active F5. ASM logging is failing due to missing /var/tmp/#sql_****.MYI file (/var/tmp -> /shared/tmp).
I wonder whether I can just failover F5s and reboot the affected F5 to fix the problem? But I know that data stored in /var/tmp is more persistent so the solution will probably be a bit more complex than just a reboot. Any suggestions?
It looks like you are having a Production issue, so it's best to open a Support Case get the guidance from F5 Support team - they should be able to advise on an impact this might have if you failover the device group
