Recently i have upgraded my LTM from 12.1.2 to 22.214.171.124.
Post upgrade i'm unable to launch the dashboard page and showing the error as "unrecoverable communication error, close the window and login through the BIG-ip configuration utility"
Please help me to fix this issue.
You must be using Firefox then.
The workaround I have is to use Chrome instead.
I tried all possible browsers but still the same issue.
You are right: Chrome 64.0.3282.140 does not work for 126.96.36.199.
I had the same problem with FF accessing a 11.6.x system, but changing to Chrome worked.
You might want to open a case with F5 support.
Contacted F5 support team, they have supplied engineering hotfix.
I will install and update the results.
Verified the same issue in 188.8.131.52 here also - is there a bug ID for this yet to keep track of it?
Would have knocked my Ops monitor dashboard off had I upgraded those particular devices

Try the below:
Login in via cli
bigstart restart httpd
bigstart restart tomcat
Clear browser cache and open webui
