What privileges are reqired for HA Sync?

We created a dedicated partition for a load balancer in order to give access to pool management to an external company. They have Operator privilege on that partition. What else would they minimally need in order to sync their changes (basically enabling/disabling pool members) to the HA standby node?

Running BigIP v 12.1.3.6 VE.

thanks,
HP.

Hi,

The Administrator or Resource Administrator role is required for that functionality.

Thanks, Youssef.
In this case, I didn't miss something...
But neither of them is something I do want to give to them, no offense or mistrust, they just aren't very familiar with f5.

Nor do I have the option to build some custom profile allowing this dedicated task, right?

Hi, it's my pleasure.

you can not unfortunately create a user with a dedicated task for the HA. Only users with either the Administrator or Resource Administrator user role can configure a redundant system:

hope it will help you.
