Default Big IP VE behavior when provisioned with multiple virtual disks

Greetings all,

I have a Big IP VE thin provisioned, with 2 virtual disks. As I understand it, the default behavior is for the Big IP to span both disks "out of the box". For instance, when the first disk runs out of space it will simply begin to use the other disk. I am aware that I can resize the disks when necessary. I am looking for a bottom line behavior if there is such a thing. Any response is helpful, thanks.

As far as I know, F5 only uses one of those virtual disks that you have mentioned.

Resizing process is only performed "out-of-the-box".

Actually, F5 uses LVM to create those boot locations that will be using when you perform an upgrade, but all of them are partitions that reside in the same disk. If you are familiar with LVM, I guess you can manually include one of those secondary disks inside of your 'pvs' to get more space, but it's not an official procedure.
