Does Enabling AVR impact traffic?

Looking to enable the AVR module, but didn't know if it required taking the F5 out of service. Have been researching if this is an on the fly enable.

thanks

  • Hi,

Enabling the AVR module does the same as activating other modules. Once activated on the Resource Provisioning page, f5 processes restart and can cause service downtime.

I recommend to manually failover to the standby unit and then activate the module.
