Nasty bug found in iRule Editor

We discovered a nasty bug in the iRule editor last night.

 

 

When editing a data class (which was a external file or string class - in this case a list of ip addresses) if you try to create a duplicate entry you get an error message to that effect.

 

 

After clicking "OK" to clear the error message, if you click the "Refresh" button this deletes the entire data class that you were editing!

 

 

For us this resulted in 50 VIP's failing so was the proverbial pain in the backside!

 

 

Recovered the situation by synching config from the peer unit.
