Need Help with irule

Question

Here's a newbie question that I need some assistance with.  I need to write an irule that will -&nbsp;
Initial Request -- http://www.abc.com&nbsp;
Redirect --- http://www.abc.com:9443&nbsp;
Searching through some of the postings, will this work?&nbsp;
when HTTP_REQUEST {&nbsp;
        HTTP::redirect "http://www.abc.com:9443"&nbsp;
         }&nbsp;
}&nbsp;
 &nbsp;

Hi Marker, 
&nbsp;  
&nbsp; Do you have a VS defined on port 80 and a separate one on port 9443?  If so you should be able to use that iRule on the port 80 VS to redirect all requests to the 9443 VS.   
&nbsp;  
&nbsp; Is the 9443 VS used for SSL?  If so, you should change the rule to redirect to https://www.abc.com:9443.
