Dear F5 Experts,

I have strange problem with our F5 8400 BigIP. We have two bigip 8400 working as active and standby in one of our DSP. Version is 10.2.0.1789

Now the strange problem with our primary one is that it reload randomly at any time.

Below is the "last" command from the problematic F5 BIGIP

Below is the "last" command from the F5 which is working fine

[root@SAJDH1LDB02:Active] config last

My issue is not related to the logrotate

I think my issue is related to kernel 2.6.18-164.11.1 issue.

Any help in this regards would be helpful

  • Hi Nasim,

I suggest opening a case with F5 Support to get help troubleshooting this issue. They'll want to see tech.out's from both units as well as a tarball of each unit's log directory.

You could also try uploading the tech.outs to https://ihealth.f5.com to get feedback on the configs.
