Firefox problem refreshing with VSs with SSL Termination

Hi everybody!

 

 

I am having problems defining a new virtual server that terminates the SSL Tunnel. Everything works perfectly in Internet Explorer and with curl but the problem arises when I use other client (Firefox or Chrome).

 

 

With Firefox, the first time I ask for the page it loads without any problem, but when I refresh (with F5 or Ctrl-F5) it keeps waiting and finally it gives me a timeout.

 

 

I am using the trial Virtual Appliance with V10.1 that everybody can download from F5 webpage, and it cannot be updated (it has only one volume and F5 guys are not stupid). Look at this Known Issue: SOL12313, it refers to a problem that seems similar to mine, but I cannot apply the update.

 

 

At least, does anybody know if the problem reproduces in 10.1 versions too? Any workaround?

    Hi Moriarti,

     

     

    I think the best option is to contact your F5 SE or partner and request an eval key for LTM VE (not the trial). With that you can use the latest 10.2.x or 11.0 virtual edition. You can get in touch with them here:
