  • Hi,

Typically, you'd configure a separate virtual server for each protocol. Normally, you'd define an HTTP virtual server on port 80 and a separate virtual server for FTP.

  • My doubt is can we use same virtual server for FTP I mean lets say if we have 3 webserver as 10.1.1.1,10.1.1.2,10.1.13 for http can we use same server for ftp ?

  • You can create one HTTP virtual server on port 80 which points to a pool of web servers on 10.1.1.1, .2 and .3 on port 80. You can create a separate FTP virtual server with an FTP profile which points to a pool of FTP servers on 10.1.1.1, .2 and .3 on port 21.
