Big IP Edge and Exchange 2010 Active Sync

We are currently doing a migration from Exchange 2007 to Exchange 2010 and use Edge Gateway for passing the SSL traffic. We do not use Edge as an LTM device. I am having issues configuring active sync for exchange 2010. I read about the deployment guide but it talks more about LTM then Edge gateway. I used the iApp for deployment but it complains about some persistent cookie profile missing. I really need to resolve this issue because its hindering the migration process. Any one else experience this issue?

Thanks

Hi Amit, first I recommend opening a case with F5 support so we can track these issues with the Exchange iApp and so we can have a look at your configuration. Second, can you tell us more about your deployment? Which version of the iApp are you using? Where does the Edge Gateway forward the ActiveSync traffic-is it going to another load balancer? What are the exact choices you've selected in the template that produce this error?

    thanks

  • Amit,

Can you please download and try the latest iApp for Exchange as announced here:

Once within that iApp, please select "This BIG-IP Edge Gateway or APM will provide secure remote access to CAS" scenario and proceed from there. You should get the full configuration created.

I assume that you want to get just the Exchange 2010 working, as ActiveSync apps are different between 2007 and 2010 and must be served by their respective CAS version-specific CAS servers.
