Scripting BIG-IP Pool membership

I regularly have to add and remove many servers from multiple pools as part of making our systems unavailable during outages.

 

 

Is there a way I can automate/script this process? Is there a scripting language or tool I can use? Any help/direction would be much appreciated. I have searched but have not found anything, - but I find it difficult to believe that nothing is available..?

    ...I think iControl would be helpful in this instance as well. If you want to use an outside program to interface with the box, iControl interfaces with a lot of different languages, and is very powerful. Depending on your level of comfort coding, this could be just about as easy.
