Consolidate ASM Policies

I'm trying to consolidate my ASM policies down to two if possible to keep management to a minimum. I read this article ( https://support.f5.com/kb/en-us/sol...l8018.html ), and scenario 3 seems to suggest that I can run the same HTTP class on multiple Virtual Servers if they have a default pool, and the HTTP class isn't configured to send traffic to a specific pool.

Right now I'm setting up some new hardware and have two HTTP classes, one for production and one for QA. Will this work if I assign that HTTP class to multiple Virtual Servers?

What this is saying is that you can have a HTTP class profile on multiple VSs but if your VSs have default pools (which are different to each other) yet the HTTP class profile has a pool configured then this will take precedence. See the table towards the top of the F5 post.

    Hope this helps,
