APM SNAT pool and Virtual Server Access

Hi

my scenario is this

I am using SNAT pool on my APM for my SSL VPN. I am unable to browse to Virtual Servers on the same LAN as the SNAT pool member.

I just wanted to confirm my thoughts:

based on the SNAT concepts 'a SNAT can be used by itself to pass traffic that is not destined for a virtual server and a Virtuals Server cant be a pool member

http://support.f5.com/kb/en-us/solutions/public/10000/300/sol10379.html

in my build I would not be able to browse to the Virtual server and to resolve this would not to remove SNAT and allow the client to route?

Any thoughts, comments, suggestions?

Thanks

Gus

  • Hi Gus,

I don't think there should be a problem connecting from a client on the same VLAN/subnet that the SNAT IP address is on. Is the virtual server enabled on that VLAN?
