Routing and Route Domains????

Guys I have an LTM with the following:

VLAN_12

Trunk - Interfaces 1.1 - 1.2

Route domain - 12

Default Gateway (Route Domain 12) - 10.249.12.1%12

Self-IP (float) - 10.249.12.20%12

Node - 10.249.12.42%12

(IP config on node: 10.249.12.24/24 DG 10.249.12 20) The DG on the node is the Self-IP

Symptom:

When the node is included in a pool and behind a VIP - the traffic comes through the VIP SNATTED - hits the node - then is returned back through the BigIP and the connection is fine.

PROBLEM:

The node cannot communicate outside of its own VLAN. Its like the F5 will not release the outbound traffic initiated from that node to the upstream 10.249.12.1 interface.

Am I missing something?

Do you have a virtual server for 0.0.0.0%12 of type 'forwarding' created to 'route' the traffic in routing domain 12?
