citrix xenapp ,storefront APM integration

We have got big-ip ltm/apm ver 11.2 hf 2.

I am working in providing Citrix access from the Internet both from pc as well as iPad Citrix receiver.

On Citrix side we got xenapp 6.5,storefront 1.2.

I want to use a common URL like http://remote.company.com to be used for both Citrix receiver in ios as well as in pc web browser to access Citrix resources.

How can I achieve this?

So far I have tried, portal access to storefront URL .it works but sso not working .

Storefront takes the username as domain/username.

How to make this work.

Portal acces to Citrix web interface works with sso.

Remote desktop Citrix fails to pull the published app in the apm dynamic webtop.

The error I get is Citrix resources failed.

What's the best option I have from apm to give secure access to Citrix for both iOS,android,pc etc.

Also, same URL to be used in any device.

Cheers

Ram

  • Hi Jason, thanks for the info.i got Sso working with storefront using the configuration as in the above screenshot.

So I got user login against AD through apm,Sso pass the credential as domain/username and gets the storefront page in the portal webtop.all working as expected.

Putting this apm URL in Citrix receiver iPad app and selecting xenapp service doesn't work.how can I make this work in iOS receiver?

also,I can't get the xenapp publish in the apm webtop o replace the storefront and web interface.

I am using the right XML broker and port 80 in remote desktop.i even have autologon but it fails to display Citrix apps in the dynamic webtop.when I click on it and input user, password, domain gets failed to retrieve Citrix resources.i am thinking it could be that XML broker accepts username as domain/username.how can I pass this in Citrix desktop auto login settings like we did in VPE above for Sso of storefront?

Can this be the issue it fails?

    Waiting for ur answer.

    Cheers

  • I am not using cloud gateway but just storefront as the web interface.

We got both Citrix web interface and storefront for user access to Citrix.

What's the best way to make it work with ios receiver?

What additional steps do I need to do.

I got apm portal webtop sso pass through to storefront app Citrix StoreWeb . This works in pc fine . I was hoping iOS receiver can use the apm URL to access Citrix.
