about iRule setting for IDS LB

Hi

 

Let me ask you a question regarding iRule setting,

 

 

I would like to config IDS LB with using BIGIP6400. Generating 2GB with a trafic generator called Smartbit, I sent the traffics to TAP equipment. And this TAP sends the replicated packets that were gained as a result of traffic mirroring to BIGIP6400 Giga Interface. And this TAP disperses the replicated traffics evenly to 4 IDS servers.

 

Then I am wondering what I have to do with the BIGIP6400 iRule setting. Symply using Redirection Rule is ok or not?

    iControl is our remote management API so you'll likely want to post this to the iRules forum. With that being said, this looks like a product support question in which case you'll have to go to F5 Product Technical support. We'd be glad to help you out with debugging iRules if you get to that point.
