FirePass SDK doesn't support pre-logon endpoint security chec

How does a client perform the endpoint security check when using the Firepass iControl API/SDK to connect to a Firepass server?

  • Sorry, I guess that was a little vague. We're using the Firepass SDK to create a secure AppTunnel to a Firepass server and then a favorite to connect to a back-end server. It seems as if the security check is enabled on the Firepass server the AppTunnel connection (using OpenSession) will fail. We can connect successfully when the security check is disabled.
  • if we can't run Pre-Login Inspections against the SDK API 5.0 for Anti-Virus and Windows Information settings the can we lock it down to allow only the Firepass API? Example, we have a Pre-Login Inspector for the Firepass Stand-alone VPN client in the support documents. How about the API? This will help me write a Policy that says "Only Firepass API can log into HTTPS://Firepass.F5.com/API".
