Sharepoint 2007 and Big Ip 4.x

hello team,

we have Big IP 1000 running 4.5.14. We are trying to deploy sharepoint 2007 using the existing devices. There seems to be an issue when the user tries to access the website he gets a login prompt but after entering the credentials he cannot see the page.

Is this a compatibility issue? if yes, is there a way to make this work?

I will really appreciate the help.

  • Hi Anand,

How do you have your virtual server defined? Can you post an anonymized copy of the vip and pool configuration from the bigip.conf file?

  • If you capture the client side communication using a browser plugin like HttpFox for Firefox or Fiddler for IE, what does the client see? If you compare this with tcpdumps captured on the BIG-IP, what happens when the failure occurs? If you need help interpreting either the client traces or the tcpdumps, you could open a case with F5 Support. They should still provide best effort support for 4.x.
