Zonerunner error after upgrade

I just upgraded from 9.4.4 to 10.0.1 HF2. Everything went smooth, however, now I get an error messages in Zonerunner which are different depending on the menu you choose, see below

Global Traffice -> ZoneRunner -> Resource Record List -> Error: "01020005:3: The requested operation is not implemented yet"

Global Traffice -> ZoneRunner -> Zone List -> Error: "General Error"

Global Traffice -> ZoneRunner -> View List -> Error: "General Error"

Global Traffice -> ZoneRunner -> Named Configuration -> Error: "Error trying to access the database."

This is the standby unit, which I upgraded first. The active unit is still running 9.4.4. This unit has the GTM and LTM modules active (i verified licensing after the upgrade). Everything else looks good so I'm not sure why the named is messed up. I tried searching the knowledge base but didnt find anything useful. Any ideas on what to check?

  • I just noticed under System -> Services the ZRD service says "down, waiting for named to release running semaphore". Not sure what this means
  • Well, I opened a support ticket and they found a configuration error in Named.conf. I'm not sure if the error was there prior to the update or if the update caused the config problem but it was working prior to the upgrade. Anyways, this is what I deleted in the named.conf file to enable the zrd service.

    zone "." in {

    type hint;<--- This needs to be removed or moved below the next statement.

    file "db.cache";
