LDAP auth as client

How would I bind as the client account, rather than an admin account, so that a user's account would be locked after failed login attempts as controlled by the LDAP server? Currently, when using an LDAP auth configuration and binding as an admin account, the failed login attempts do not increment the failed attempts counter.

This is possible for admin authentication to the LTM admin interfaces, but I don't think it's possible for client LDAP auth. You might try opening a case with F5 Support to see if there is a workaround. If not, you could ask for an RFE to be created to track the request.
