Synchronizing files in /var/class

When I create a file in /var/class on the master and synchronize to peer the file appears on the peer as expected under /var/class. When I delete the file on the master and synchronize to peer, the file on the peer is still there. Is this configurable?

Using Version 10.2.4

  • Hi Marco,

This sounds like the same Push Only behavior that you get with SSL Certificates on a BIG-IP.

It should push it if it is not there....push any updates if they are made, but not delete any files on the Peer.

I've always viewed it as a fail-safe to prevent anyone from crippling both devices if a mistake is made with a delete.

Hmm, ok, Michael. This sounds plausible in theory but it's not practical. Thanks for your reply!
