vCMP guest clan allocation in a Route Domain

Hello,

We have a vCMP guest with multiple route domains/partitions. We configure the vlans at host level as per F5 documentation, these are made available to the guest. Unfortunately the vlans that are published to the guest are in the /Common partition and cannot be moved into the RD, which is in a different partition. What is the method to provision vlans into different partitions/RDs on vCMP guests?

Thanks for any help..

  • The only way I've found to do this is by adding them to the host, which get published in the guest and then deleting them in the guest and re-adding the vlans into the right partitions/RD. The vlan tags must appear on the host and also the guest from what I understand.
