logging missing

Hi I discover a strange behavior in logging messages by iRules. LTM V 10.4.1 HF1

 

Is use : log local0. "message comes here".

 

I see all messages in /var/log/ltm if my active-standby status is NOT in sync, e.g. after doing any change in an iRule. After I sync it, I do not get the messages anymore. This is reproducible. Always looking at the active box of course.

 

I know about rate limitation / suppression when not using facility (log "message"), which I also use at some places. Same behavior with this. Could not find any hint or explanation so far. Any idea ?

    I think it's not expected behavior in F5. I suggest you to open case to F5 support.

    Urs, are you an AWS only customer? If so, you would be without a support contract and thus unable to utilize our normal support services. If you are still experiencing this problem, which does seem like a bug, I would need to open a support case for you.

     

    Please confirm.
