Deploy F5 without Web Interface OR Storefront? Possible?

Hi,

We're currently implmenting a new XenApp 6.5 solution with an F5. I want to ask if it is possible to deploy completely without the need for Storefront or Webinterface? I've watched an F5 demo using the iApp template but it seems to be using one of the two. Before we embark on this I wanted to clear it up. Also is there a template for this set up or demo?

Thanks, Matt.

Without the Citrix Web Interface? Sure... Just create a webtop and drop Citrix Remote Desktops (Which are APM speak for XMLBroker proxies) onto the VPE...

Everything is done by the client (Javascript in the browser). When a user logs into the APM service, the webtop pushes a reasonably sized javascript program out to the client. This runs, and generates SOAP requests to the VS, which sends them to the remote desktops (i.e. The IP/Pool/FQDN for the XMLbroker configured in the remote desktop).

if you're not seeing any traffic to the broker, then either

    1. The RemoteDesktop isn't configured correctly
    2. The RemoteDesktop isn't being assigned to the client via the VPE.
    3. The browser isn't capable of running the javascript...
