View F5 irule logs using F5 user interface.

Hello

 

I do not have access to the F5 box file system. However I can access the F5 user interface where I can deploy the irule. I have an irule where I have written log statements using log local0. "xx" calls.

 

Is there a way to see the logs using the F5 user interface ? I see this post where there is a mention of seeing the logs using the UI - https://devcentral.f5.com/questions/ways-to-debug-irules. However, I cant find this menu "System"->"Logs" on my F5 interface. Has this feature been enabled in later versions of F5 ? Or am I missing any steps here.

    It is still available. I guess you might have the "iRule Manager' role, where this role don't have the access to the logs menu.

      Thanks for the reply. So which role has access to the logs menu ? we added a user with role "operator". In the system-> user -> user list, i see role "operator", partition "common" and console "disabled" and the logs menu doesnt show up. Please help us with the steps. Any link to documentation will also help. Thanks.

    The resource administrator role is avail with the logs menu option.
