doesn't it failover automatically when restarting tmm (e.g. bigstart restart)?

Hey Nitass! How are you? Its been awhile huh?
Yes it does! Thanks! But if this is done, the failover will still be seamless, right?
- nitassEmployeei am doing good. how have you been? i do not think it is seamless. i mean service (user) will be interrupted.

im good, still handling LTM :)
but the service interruption is similar to the instance where we will just click "Force to Standby" button on the active unit?
- nitassEmployeei am not sure whether it is the same indeed. anyway, i would prefer failover manually (force standby) and then restart tmm on new standby unit.

Hi Nitass, just retested the tmm restart command. It seems the failover will just be temporary. After the tmm restart process has finished, the box will retain its position as active.
- Hi Ephraine, what software version are you on? Are there any configurations regarding unit preference in HA settings? Is there anything with the second unit preventing it from going active? Btw, in case of both units in standby the one with the higher management IP will win. Thanks, Stephan
