Maximum DNS RPS on GTM VE

Hi,

 

We are looking to extend our F5 equipments and we are looking for a GTM Virtual Edition and we have one question:

 

Which are the maximum DNS RPS that can handle the GTM VE depending on the following options and using VMware vSphere? • For a F5 GTM VE 200 Mbps of throughput? • For a F5 GTM VE 1 Gbps of throughput? • For a F5 GTM VE 3 Gbps of throughput? • For a F5 GTM VE 5 Gbps of throughput? • For a F5 GTM VE 10 Gbps of throughput?

    Hi SANTS boy, A 1Gb VE would more than cover this requirement. The max any VE can do is about 250K RPS which is about 1Gbps throughput. You will want to engage your account team for more detail.

    GTM is not really broken out that way. What is your RPS requirement?

    Hi bhs,

     

    we have calculated between 50.000 - 100.000 DNS requests per second
