Name:default_route Partition / Path:Common Destination: 0.0.0.0 Netmask: 0.0.0.0 Partition: Common Resource : use gateway Gateway Address: IP Address 10.161.6.1

you do know virtual server ip does not need to be in the same subnet of selfip, don't you? also, normally route on bigip is not required for incoming traffic. it does require for server-initiated traffic.

what do you want to accomplish? do you have network diagram?

i need 3 Gateway Ipaddresses to be bind into functioning as one.

i know i could decide to create a pool for all the gateways , i created that pool but it wasn't working.

  • do you mean you want server 2 - 5 use 10.161.6.1 gateway but server 35 - 38 use 10.161.6.33 gateway?

if yes, can you use wildcard performance layer 4 virtual server (instead of wildcard ip forwarding virtual server) and then use irule to select gateway pool based on source ip?
