F5 Citrix APM Adjustment without reapplying the iApp

Hello,

 

We've deployed an iApp for Citrix (APM). After deploying the iApp we've made some adjustments regarding the access policy. We want to adjust another setting in the APM, but if we adjust the setting within the iApp itself it will reconfigure the complete iApp config.

 

We want to know if it's possible to adjust the setting without reconfiguring the iApp.

 

The following setting is currently set to yes, but we want to have the setting set to no.

 

Choose whether you want the system to remove the APM session from the BIG-IP APM when users log out of the Web Interface or StoreFront servers. If you select Yes, the system terminates all active APM sessions for that user, including any open ICA sessions. If you select No, the system leaves APM user sessions active when users are logged out from Citrix Web Interface or StoreFront servers. The BIG-IP APM removes these user sessions after the default idle timeout of 15 minutes.

    You can remove the Logout URI Include that has been added into the properties of you access policy.

     

    Should be something like: /Citrix//Authentication/Logoff

    I have tried this option and it does indeed log the user off, however, it also closes out the users running application so this is not the answer for the question. I am also having this issue and have not found a solution other then what others have stated of increasing the timeout on the Web Interface IIS sever.

      The question was how to disable APM user session logoff feature without re-configuring iApp. Are you trying to do the same?

    Has anyone figured this one out? We too are in the same situation and are looking for how to manually change this setting without completely redeploying the iapp
