User Role with enough privileges to force the device to Active/Standby mode

Hi all,

Can someone please let me know what User Role I can use for our support team that will give them enough privileges to force a device to Active or Standby mode? At the moment their User Role is "Operator". That does not allow them to force a device to Active/Standby mode and does not allow to Sync the config changes either.

We do not want to put the support team in the Admin group.

Thanks,

H

  • The Administrator or Resource Administrator role is required for that functionality. If you have a developer in your team, you could create an iControl/iControlREST script that could perform these functions and offer them to your support team as part of a tool set.
