Health Montior with Receive String - LTM 10.2.3

Question

I have a Health Monitor configured to look for a receives string and receive disable string.&nbsp;
Name: get_tomcat_status_8081
Type: HTTP
Interval: 5 sec
Up Interval: Disabled
Time Until Up: 0
Timeout: 16 sec
Send String: GET /HealthCheck/status.html

Receive String: Enabled
Receive Disable String: Disabled
Reverse: No
Transparent: No
Alias: * All Addresses 
Alias Service Port: 8081&nbsp;
The Server responds correctly when sending a direct query: &nbsp;
http://10.1.9.225:8081/HealthCheck/status.html
Response: Enabled&nbsp;
The Health Check Fails from the F5.&nbsp;
Am I missing something?&nbsp;

Hi Richard, I think it would be worth checking out this solution https://support.f5.com/kb/en-us/solutions/public/2000/100/sol2167.html.&nbsp;
Bigip monitors use http 0.9 and it may be that that's causing the issue. Try changing to v1.0 and follow the advice in the Sol above to construct the request. &nbsp;
Also, the string has to be in the first 5120 bytes of the response. &nbsp;
